Anh Tran

Anh Tran is currently a Research Scientist at VinAI Research, focusing on Computer Vision topics in AWS Recognition. Prior to this role, Anh worked as a Computer Scientist at Amazon, where research was conducted on similar topics. Anh also completed a PhD at the University of Southern California, where research focused on face recognition and 3D face modeling. Additionally, experience includes work as a Software Developer at Emotiv, where the Emotiv Framework was transported from Windows to Mac, and as a Researcher with the MIMAS team, creating systems to recognize human specific thought and states based on EEG signals. Anh also worked as an SAP Developer at Novellus Systems, supporting internal employees in the SAP System.
