Jose Loo

Jose Loo has extensive work experience in business development and strategy consulting. Jose most recently served as the Head of Global Partnerships & Business Development at Vindicia, where they focused on subscription management platform and enhancing customer engagement. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Head of Business Development at Digicel Group, overseeing financial services in 32 markets worldwide. Jose also worked as a Senior Strategy Advisor at Guidepoint, providing digital transformation strategies for the financial services, payments, and mobile industries. Jose has a strong background in the digital commerce and mobile sector, having served as the Director of Business Development at MasterCard, where they established partnerships and alliances with various financial institutions and fintech companies. Jose also gained experience in development consulting at the Inter-American Development Bank, ensuring strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's goals. Earlier in their career, Jose held positions at Telefonica and IBM, where they specialized in business development and consulting. Jose also taught as a professor at the Universidad de Lima.

Jose Loo has a well-rounded education history. Jose pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Universidad de Lima, attending from 1994 to 1999. Later, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business, Management, and Marketing at Universidad del Pacífico (PE) from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they further sharpened their skills by undertaking a General Management program, the GCP (Executive Leadership and General Management), at The Wharton School for a year. Jose Loo also holds a certification in Data Science for Business Leaders from Udacity, which they obtained in December 2021.
