Robbert Strating

Robbert Strating is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in flight operations and leadership roles. Since October 2018, Robbert has served as Vice President of Flight Operations at Virgin Atlantic. Prior to this, Robbert was the CEO of Hevilift Australia and Director of Operations for Hevilift Group from January 2015 to December 2018. Robbert held the position of Director of Flight Operations and Accountable Manager at TUI from August 2009 to September 2013, and worked as an Aviation Advisor at Shell from September 2007 to August 2009. Robbert's military career includes serving as a LtCol and F16 Pilot in the Royal Netherlands Air Force and U.S. Air Force from June 1987 to September 2007. Robbert's educational background includes a Business Administration and Executive Education degree from Harvard Business School, a Master's degree in Security and Defence from the Netherlands Defence College, and a Bachelor's degree in Military Science from the Royal Military Academy.
