Christopher Huie

Christopher Huie is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in flight sciences, loads analysis, and simulation. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Business Insights and Senior Manager of Loads at Virgin Galactic since December 2020, Christopher leads various Flight Sciences disciplines, including Loads and Structural Dynamics. Prior to this, Christopher held positions at The Spaceship Company as Group Lead in Loads, and at Bell Helicopter as Flight Simulation Engineer and Structural Design Criteria & External Loads Engineer, where responsibilities included leading aerospace engineering projects and developing design loads for the V-280 Valor. Christopher's earlier experiences include internships at Sikorsky, focusing on aerodynamics and mechanical diagnostics. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and coursework towards a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by additional degrees from the University of Maryland and the University of Sydney.
