Job Title: Customer Product Owner

Objective: The Customer Product Owner plays a key role in maximizing the product’s value by generating customer stories that the team can use to make more user-led decisions for product development. On specific projects, we might expect you to act as Product Manager as well to document the higher level business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique requirements, pain points, and business objectives

  • Document User Stories that include Acceptance Criteria

  • Execute hand-off of Designs from our Customer’s Design Team

  • Work with our internal Engineering and QA team to refine the Solution Requirements Document and User Stories in order to enable them to produce precise estimates

  • Work with our customer’s Executive Team and Product Leadership team to understand the Product Strategy, document the Product Roadmap and Business Requirements Document

  • Serve as the point of contact for feature requests

  • Perform UAT on Requirements developed by our team for the Customer’s product

  • Conduct regular customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather feedback and validate product assumptions

  • Monitor product performance and usage metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

  • Provide product demonstrations, training sessions, and support documentation to help customers maximize the value of the product

  • Collaborate with Vitamin Leadership Team to support improving internal Product Management processes and practices

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Product Owner in software development

  • Excellent communication in English and experience in interactions with US customers

  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Aha!)

  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams on min 2 projects simultaneously

  • Excellent work ethic, team spirit and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

  • Based in a NATO country

Time Commitment

We anticipate 25-30h/ week as an involvement.

  • Step 1: HR Discussion - 30 mins

  • Step 2: Interview with Director Project Management - 30 mins

  • Step 3: Test project (home assignment) - max 2-3 hours

  • Step 4: Project debriefing interview with team members - 60 mins

  • Step 5: Offer Discussion with Director Project Management and the CEO - 30 mins
