Roger Coles Fcipd

Roger Coles FCIPD has over 20 years of work experience in HR leadership roles. Roger started their career at Marks and Spencer as a Personnel Management Trainee, where they gained foundational HR knowledge. Roger then worked at Alcan Lawson Mardon as a Human Resources Officer, further developing their HR skills.

In 2001, Roger joined Wrigley, starting as a Senior Advisor and eventually becoming the People Learning and Development Manager for the Supply Chain EMEAI region. Roger was responsible for HR leadership, restructuring programs, and the integration of acquired plants in various countries.

In 2008, Roger joined Mars as the People & Organisation Director for Wrigley West Europe. Roger provided strategic HR leadership for 3600 employees in 24 countries, including post-acquisition integration into Mars Inc.

In 2011, Roger became the Vice President of People & Organisation for Wrigley Europe, where they provided strategic HR leadership to 4000 employees in 38 countries. Roger also contributed to European business strategy and was a member of the European Leadership Team and the Wrigley Segment Global HR leadership team.

In 2015, Roger joined Volac International Ltd as the HR Director, where they delivered HR leadership to a global dairy and performance nutrition company. Roger created an HR strategy aligned with the company's strategic plan and played a key role in developing the 5-year strategy. Roger also built a globally oriented HR team and introduced talent and succession planning processes.

Throughout their career, Roger has demonstrated their ability to provide strategic HR leadership, integrate acquisitions, and drive organizational transformation.

Roger Coles FCIPD earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Plymouth. Roger is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, although the specific institution and date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
