Operations Director at Waag Futurelab

Job Spierings has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1998, Job worked at Challenge Records International, where they focused on royalties, mechanical, and neighboring copyrights until 2003. From 2003 to 2010, they served as an Artist Manager at Impulse Art Management. In 2004, Job joined Performing Arts as a business manager and consultant until 2015. Simultaneously, from 2009 to 2018, they worked at Performing Arts Fund as a consultant. In 2010, Job became a project leader for classical music and orchestras at Muziek Centrum Nederland until 2012. Job served as a board member at Société Gavigniès from 2018 onwards, and in 2012, they joined Waag Futurelab as a project manager until 2018. At Waag Futurelab, they also held positions as Operations Director from 2021 and Head of Programme Code from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Job works as a board member at Coöperatieve Vereniging Breedbandnetwerk Onderwijs Amsterdam (BOA) since 2023.

Job Spierings has a diverse education history. In 1996-1998, they attended Leiden University, where they studied political science. Job then pursued a MA in Musicology at Utrecht University from 1998-2003.
