Chapter Lead - Product Management at The Warehouse Group

Rod Moody has an extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rod recently worked at The Warehouse Group as a Chapter Lead in Product Management. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Ports of Auckland. Rod also worked at Watercare Services Limited, where they held multiple roles, including Agile Delivery Lead, Enterprise Agile and Product Coach, and Agile Programme Lead and Product Coach.

Before that, they had a significant tenure at IBM iX, serving as a Senior Managing Consultant in Digital Strategy and Experience Design and as the Digital Consulting Leader for Banking and Financial Services. Rod also worked at IBM NZ as a Managing Consultant in the Strategy and Analytics Practice.

Rod began their career at Auckland Council in roles such as Team Leader Business Analysts in Enterprise Architecture and Security and Web and Digital Product Consultant. Rod also gained experience at Kiwiplan NZ Ltd as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Manager/Developer, and Technical Communicator.

Rod Moody's education history includes completing a PRINCE II Practitioner program at the Office of Government Commerce in 2009. Prior to that, they attended The University of Auckland from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a BA/BCom(Hons) degree in Information Systems, English, and History. Before university, they studied at King's College Auckland from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Rod has obtained several certifications, including Psychology of Interaction Design: The Ultimate Guide from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2021, and certifications in Information Visualization and IBM Design Thinking from the Interaction Design Foundation and IBM, respectively.
