Amador Velasquez

Amador Velasquez has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Amador has been working as the Director of Technology at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Technology Manager at NBCUniversal, Inc. from December 2014 to November 2020. Before that, they held the position of Chief Engineer at KTVZ-TV from December 2007 to November 2014 and at KECY FOX 9 from May 2000 to December 2007. Amador also has a background in the US Army, where they worked as a Multi-Channel Transmission Systems Operator/Maintainer from June 1995 to June 1999.

Amador Velasquez attended ITT Technical Institute-San Diego from 2002 to 2004, where they studied Computer and Electronic Engineering. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2007, they enrolled at Arizona Western College to pursue studies in Computer Information Systems.
