Sean Wood

Sean Wood has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Sean has extensive experience in strategic communications, crisis management, and public relations. Sean worked as an Executive Vice President at Weber Shandwick from 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member for Pledge2Protect from 2013 to 2016. From 2011 to 2014, Sean was a Partner at RLM Finsbury, leading health care communications teams and spearheading integrated positioning campaigns. Before that, they served as an Executive Vice President and Principal at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, where they advised clients on corporate reputation programs, regulatory and litigation issues, and strategy and positioning for issues and crises. Sean was also a Senior Vice President and Vice President at the same company, managing key health care client work and providing full-service corporate reputation and crisis communications support. Additionally, Sean co-founded AB Image, a strategic communications agency based in Moscow, Russia, from 1997 to 1998. Sean also founded Vanguard Marketing, a boutique public relations agency, from 1995 to 1997. Sean's earlier experiences include working as the Director of Public Relations at Radisson-Slavjanskaya Hotel and Business Center, a journalist at various media outlets in Russia, and a reporter for Our Town community newspaper. Sean Wood completed their secondary education at Phillips Academy (Andover) from 1981 to 1985. Sean then pursued their bachelor's degree in Soviet Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1985 to 1989.
