Sabatino Pezzella is an experienced culinary professional with a robust background in restaurant management and food service operations. Currently serving as Executive Chef and Food Service Director at Wingate Healthcare since March 2020, Sabatino is responsible for hiring and firing kitchen staff, overseeing production sanitation, managing food and labor costs for two dining halls, supervising over ten employees, preparing menus, and maintaining inventory control. Prior to this role, Sabatino held the position of Executive Chef at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services from February 2008 to March 2020 and served as Executive Chef at Northeastern University from February 2007 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes Executive Chef roles at Sodexo from January 2002 to February 2008 and at Sodexho Marriott from June 1996 to December 2001, where Sabatino also worked as Executive Sous Chef. Education is ongoing at Bunker Hill Community College since 1981.
