Stefan Rustscheff has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on HR business partnering and analytics. Stefan is currently the Director of HR Business Partner at Yorkville University, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, Stefan worked at Amazon as a Senior HR Business Partner from January 2022 to May 2022. Stefan also held multiple positions at Scotiabank, including Senior Manager of HR Business Partner for Analytics & Data Science from March 2021 to January 2022, Senior Manager of HRBP Insights & Initiatives from May 2019 to March 2021, and Senior Manager of HR Business Partner for Digital Banking from January 2018 to April 2019. Before joining Scotiabank, Stefan worked at Architech as a Senior HR & Operations Specialist from March 2015 to December 2017, where they implemented HR metrics and policies to support the company's rapid growth. Stefan began their career as an HR Coordinator at CPP Investment Board in 2014, and later worked as an HR Coordinator at EY from October 2013 to May 2014. Stefan also gained HR experience as an intern at Free The Children in 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at RBC in client service and account service roles from 2007 to 2012. Overall, Stefan has demonstrated expertise in HR business partnering, analytics, talent management, employee engagement, and HR policy implementation.
From 2008 to 2012, Stefan Rustscheff attended the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Human Resources Management. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Human Resources Professional from HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) and as JHSC Certified from the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
