Anne Ivanson

Director Human Resources at Australian Foundation For Disability (Afford)

Anne Ivanson has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Anne'smost recent position was as the Director of Human Resources at the Australian Foundation For Disability (Afford) starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional People Manager at TAFE NSW from 2018 to 2022, where they led a team of 35 staff and provided support to 5,500 employees across multiple campuses. From 2016 to 2018, Anne was the Director of People and Culture at The Northern Sydney Institute - TAFE NSW, where they led a team of 30 staff and provided strategic guidance to improve the institute's programs and reputation. Before joining TAFE NSW, Anne worked as the Director of HR Services at the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency from 2014 to 2016, and as the National HR Manager at the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd. from 2003 to 2013. Anne also has experience as the National HR Manager Tax at KPMG from 1999 to 2002, as an HR Manager at the Securities Institute of Australia from 1998 to 1999, and as a People Project Team Leader at MMI Insurance from 1997 to 1998.

Anne Ivanson has a Graduate Diploma of Management from the Australian Institute of Management. Anne also attended Ravenswood School for Girls. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Social Work from UNSW and a Master of Business (Employment Relations) from the University of Technology Sydney with a focus in Human Resources.
