Jouni Koskinen

Head of Electronics at Aito

Jouni Koskinen has over 10 years of experience in the electronics field. Jouni began their career in 2005 as a Trainee at VTI Technologies, where they worked with tasks such as LabVIEW-programming, layout-design of testing PCBs, and assembling test systems. In 2006, they worked as a Master's Thesis worker at Nokia, where they designed an integrated switched mode power supply for cellular phones. In 2008, they worked as an Electronic Design Engineer at Endeleo Oy, designing schematics and PCBs, simulating different designs, and testing designed products. In 2010, they worked as an IC Product Application Engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor, where their work included product definition, measuring, verification, and troubleshooting devices under development. In 2012, they worked as an Electronic Design Engineer at Etteplan, where they were part of a power electronics design team. In 2013, they worked as a Reliability Engineer at KONE, where their responsibilities included analysis of field returned power electronics with production tester and elevator simulator. In 2014, they worked as an Electronic Design Engineer at Etteplan and as an Electronic Design Engineer Intern at ABB, where their main task was to design an optional power supply for a drive. Since 2018, they have been the Head of Electronics at Aito, where they make sure that all required design work and testing concerning electronics in their projects is done with high quality and in time, and they also organize tasks within the electronics team and develops the workflow. Actual design work is still part of their work as well.

Jouni Koskinen completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1999 and 2011. Jouni then went on to earn a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University between 2011 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended KYA, AYL between 1992 and 1999.
