Preston Bain

Preston Bain has a diverse work experience spanning several healthcare companies. Preston started their career as a Business Analyst at Home Technology Healthcare in 1993 before moving on to work as a Director of Business Development at PhyCor starting in 1995. After that, Bain joined Symbion as a Director of Acquisitions and Development from 2000 to 2005, and then as an Assistant Vice-President of Business Development and Physician Partnerships from 2005 to 2009. Preston then joined Surgery Partners, Inc. as a Regional Vice President of Operations from 2009 to 2019, before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations at AMSURG since 2021, where they are responsible for the financial, operational, and strategic direction of 38 short stay surgical facilities and nine anesthesia entities.

Preston Bain completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Alabama. Preston later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Alabama as well. Prior to their higher education, Preston attended Brentwood High School.
