Valentina Casella

Valentina Casella, born in Boston on October 19, 1979, after graduating in Law from the University of Milan, she obtained a Masters in Law from Columbia University Law School in New York and a Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD.

Lawyer, registered with the Milan and New York Courts, she practiced from 2004 to 2006 at the law firm of the lawyer Prof. Giovanni Panzarini. From 2007 to 2012 she was Associate of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.

Since 2014 she has been a partner of Casella e Associati - Law Firm, where she mainly deals with civil and corporate law, corporate governance, extraordinary transactions.

Since April 2021 Valentina Casella has been a member of the Board of Directors of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.

In April 2021 the Board of Directors also appointed Valentina Casella Lead Independent Director, pursuant to the Corporate Governance Code.

She is also an independent director of Banco di Desio and Brianza SpA where she holds the office of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Related Party Transactions Committee; Independent director of Italmobiliare SpA where she holds the position of Member of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.
