Lyndell Nelis

Lyndell Nelis has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in the field of spa and wellness management. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Makeup Artist and Brand Ambassador for CHANEL in Japan and Australia. Lyndell then transitioned into spa operations, working as a Spa Operations Manager for Club Med Spas in Australia and Mandara Spa in China. In 2007, they became the Area Director of Spa & Wellness for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines and China, overseeing multiple properties and leading a team of over 200 staff. After that, they served as the Director of Spa - Willow Stream Spa for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Shanghai, where they launched the spa brand and represented the brands at international media events. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Director of Spa & Wellness for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Shanghai, where they achieved Forbes 5-Star recognition and launched the first Spa Membership Program. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as the Group Spa Operations Director for Resense Spa S.A., overseeing spa operations and projects in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Most recently, since 2020, Lyndell has been the Wellness Director at Atlantis Resorts in Dubai. Throughout their career, Lyndell has demonstrated expertise in training, operations management, business development, and delivering exceptional spa experiences.

Lyndell Nelis began their education journey in 1997 at Chanel, where they studied makeup artistry with a focus on editorial techniques. Lyndell continued their education in 2003 at Cairns Beauty Academy, earning a diploma in Aesthetics. At the same time, they also attended the London College of Aestheticians and obtained a CIDESCO International Beauty Therapy Diploma. In 2004, Lyndell pursued a Diploma of Education at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, specializing in Remedial Massage. Their most recent educational endeavor was at Transform Destiny from 2015 to 2019, where they furthered their knowledge in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP, Advanced TIME and Emotional Release Techniques, and Success Coaching.
