Jeff A. Mundt

Jeff A. Mundt has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting from 1991, they worked as an R&D Director at Mars, where they led the development of a range of health beneficial chocolate products under the CocoaVia brand. Jeff A. also holds a US Patent #6670390 for "Cocoa extract compounds and methods for making and using the same."

In 2004, Mundt continued their career at Mars as a Product Development Director, leading a cross-functional team in identifying a white space opportunity for an innovative snack product. Jeff A. successfully developed the proposition, product, package, pricing strategy, supply solution, sustainable financial business model, and launched it in less than 9 months.

In 2006, they became a New Business Venture Leader at Mars before transitioning to the role of Innovation Marketing in 2007. In this position, Mundt led a cross-functional team within the Indulgence BMT, bringing new items to the market and achieving a Y1 GSV of over $25M. Jeff A. also brought the most recent new Mars Snackfood US chocolate brand to market in January 2009.

From 2009 to 2011, Mundt served as an Adjunct Professor at County College of Morris.

In 2011, they joined The Hershey Company as a Sr. Marketing Manager, responsible for disruptive innovation strategy and pipeline. Jeff A. held various roles at The Hershey Company, including Sr. Marketing Manager of Technology & Transformational Innovation and Sr. Manager of Global Innovation. During their tenure, Mundt implemented various innovation strategies and managed global initiatives.

In 2018, Mundt joined Butterball, LLC as the Vice President of R&D and Innovation. Jeff A. successfully led concept, commercialization, and in-market innovation efforts. Under their leadership, they built an incremental product innovation portfolio, expanding brand presence, and value while meeting revenue expectations.

Previously, in 2023, they worked at The Learning Forum as a Council Member. Currently, Mundt holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at MyFOREST Foods.

Jeff A. Mundt has an MBA in Marketing and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business. Jeff A. also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
