Karen Elliff

Karen Elliff has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Karen started their career at IBM as a Marketing Representative and later worked as a Competitive Strategy Analyst. Karen then joined Canon Australia as a Marketing Manager. In 2008, they moved into the nonprofit sector and became the Major Gifts Manager at CARE Australia. Karen later joined ActionAid Australia as a Donor Development Manager and The Kids' Cancer Project as the Head of Fundraising. In 2012, they became a Board Member at Women's & Girls' Emergency Centre (WAGEC). Karen also worked at Black Dog Institute as the Head of Fundraising Marketing Communications, Director of Fundraising and Development, and currently holds the role of Director of Funding and Partnerships. Additionally, they serve as the Company Secretary and Board Director at Black Dog Institute Foundation. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in fundraising, marketing, communications, and strategic leadership.

Karen Elliff earned their Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney in 1988. Karen later obtained their MBA in International Studies from the University of Miami in 1993. Prior to their university education, they completed their HSC at North Sydney Girls High School.
