Eugene Song has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eugene currently holds the position of VP, Product Management at BrainPOP since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as the Director of Product Management, TV Everywhere from July 2016 to June 2019. Eugene also gained experience as a Product Manager at Curalate from July 2014 to June 2016, where they collaborated with engineering and design teams to develop and launch various client- and consumer-facing products. Additionally, they were a Product Manager at The New York Times from April 2012 to June 2014, where they led projects related to ecommerce, mobile paywall, and digital subscription products. Eugene started their career as an Intern in Product Marketing at Profitably in June 2011. Eugene also worked as a Program Manager at EMI Music Publishing from May 2007 to July 2010, and as a Co-founder and Head of Artist Relations at Snowball Exchange from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Eugene served as a Publicity & Marketing Director at Golden Cage Music from September 2003 to May 2005.

Eugene Song has a diverse and extensive education history. Eugene obtained a BA in Music from Brown University, graduating in 2002. Following this, they pursued an MA in Music Business at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development from 2005 to 2007.

In 2010, Eugene enrolled in the NYU Stern School of Business, where they earned an MBA with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Eugene completed their MBA program in 2012.

Additionally, Eugene Song holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in March 2013.
