Andrea Risotto

Andrea Risotto has extensive work experience in communications and strategic initiatives. Andrea started their career at the U.S. Department of Education, implementing communications and outreach efforts for national education policies and later serving as Deputy Director of the Teacher-to-Teacher Initiative. Andrea then moved on to the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, where they led communications for Mayor Bloomberg's Office of Financial Empowerment. Andrea then joined the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a spokesperson for the government's response to the housing and foreclosure crisis during the Great Recession. Andrea was recognized with the Secretary's Honor Award for their work in this role. Andrea later joined The Pew Charitable Trusts as a communications lead for the Global Ocean Legacy campaign, supporting the protection of millions of square kilometers of ocean.
