Jorge Hernandez

Jorge Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Jorge began their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Petty Officer Second Class for almost eight years. After leaving the Navy, they joined BMW as a Service Technician for a brief period before transitioning to SpaceX. At SpaceX, they worked as a Propulsion Test Technician for five years before being promoted to the role of Manufacturing Specialist for one year. In 2020, they joined NTS - National Technical Systems as a Fluids Test Engineer 1, where they worked for two years. Currently, Jorge Hernandez is working at CarbonCapture Inc. as a Prototype Test Engineer and has assumed the role of Lead Test Engineer since February 2023.

Jorge Hernandez studied Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles from 2015 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in the field.
