Michael Russo

Michael Russo has seven years of work experience in various financial and operational roles. Michael is currently working as a Revenue Operations Manager at Checkr, Inc. starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HD Supply from 2019 to 2022, where they held the positions of Lead Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst. From 2017 to 2019, Michael worked at First Data Corporation, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst in the RSA Portfolio Finance team. In this role, they were responsible for managing individual P/Ls for bank partners, performing variance analysis, supporting accounting and compliance teams, building financial models, producing yearly plans, introducing controls, leading a team through system implementation, and training team members. Before First Data Corporation, Michael spent a brief period at Credit Suisse as part of the Equities Trade Validation & Control team. Michael also gained experience as an Accounting Intern and Student Accounts Specialist at the UNC Cashier's Office, and as an Institutional Research Intern at the Gillings School of Public Health.

Michael Russo attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2013 to 2017. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Public Policy.
