Mark Williamson

Director, Innovation & Off-premise Strategy at Cracker Barrel

Mark Williamson has a diverse work experience in the restaurant and food service industry. Mark started their career in 1990 at Yum! Brands, where they held various executive positions in Pizza Hut Operations and R&D. Mark then worked at Nestlé S.A. as a Group Manager, responsible for developing and implementing beverage and culinary programs globally. Mark later founded their own operations engineering consulting firm called The Productivity Solutions Group, specializing in restaurant operations analysis and store design. Mark then joined Manitowoc Foodservice as a Consulting Director, working on client service projects for major chain restaurant customers. Mark also worked as an Operations Engineering Consultant at Manitowoc Foodservice on a contract basis. Following that, Mark joined Denny's as a Sr. Director, overseeing strategic initiatives and leading teams in marketing modules, new product launches, guest satisfaction, and productivity initiatives. Most recently, they worked at Cracker Barrel as the Director of Innovation & Off-Premise Strategy, and previously as the Director of Equipment R&D.

Mark Williamson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. Mark also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, they have pursued studies in Emerging Market Strategies at Copenhagen Business School. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Implementing Winning Strategies from Columbia Business School.
