Michael Black has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Michael started their career at Jimmy John's in 2014, working as an In-Shop employee until June 2019. In 2018, they joined the College of Western Idaho as an IT Support Specialist T1, where they provided help desk support and assisted clients with various technical issues until July 2019. In 2019, they transitioned to Cradlepoint, first as an Enterprise Support Engineer and then as a Resident Engineer. In their current role, they serve as a dedicated support resource for a key account, handling support-related issues and escalations for the customer.

Michael Black attended the College of Western Idaho from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Cisco Networking and Security Technologies. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in April 2022, the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in April 2022, and the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in February 2022. Michael also obtained the CompTIA A+ (220-901) Cert Prep: 1 Core Processing certification from Lynda.com in June 2018. Furthermore, they hold the CCNA certification from Cisco obtained in May 2018, the MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certification from Microsoft obtained in February 2018, and the CCNET certification from Cisco obtained in December 2017.
