Troy Gottfried

Troy Gottfried has extensive experience in the field of data analytics and business intelligence. Troy is currently the Director of Data Analytics at Eliassen Group, where they lead the engagement and solutioning for the data analytics practice. Troy works closely with other practice leaders and management to develop service offerings for clients in areas such as data analytics, data management, and data governance. Additionally, Troy advises clients on data architecture and data governance program implementation.

Prior to their current role, Troy served as the Director of Analytics at Lightwell Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Troy was responsible for overseeing analytics initiatives and strategies at the company.

From 2017 to 2021, Troy worked at WesBanco as the VP - Manager of Business Intelligence. In this role, they led the development and deployment of BI content within the organization. Troy also provided leadership and mentorship to team members.

Before joining WesBanco, Troy worked at Quantum Health as a Business Intelligence Architect in 2016, where they collaborated with the data warehousing team to create data models supporting business intelligence and analytics needs. Troy also assisted in the evaluation and purchase of a new BI tool.

Prior to Quantum Health, Troy held the position of Director of Product Architecture at Clinical Intelligence, LLC in 2016. Troy was responsible for overseeing the product architecture of the company.

Troy has also worked at Result Data as Principal and Director of Business Development from 2011 to 2016. In this role, they led marketing and sales efforts while providing technical expertise to clients on business intelligence platforms and methodology. Troy also served as a Principal Consultant from 2002 to 2011, engaging in consulting projects and providing training on BI platforms.

Earlier in their career, Troy worked at Transmap as a GIS Technician from 1999 to 2001, and at the University of Florida as a Research Biologist in 1998. At the University, they conducted research on fire ecology and the breeding system of Saw Palmetto, and also worked on a GIS/GPS project.

Overall, Troy Gottfried has a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, and data architecture, with experience in leading teams, advising clients, and developing engagement offerings.

Troy Gottfried earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Earlham College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
