Jared White

Vice President, Computational Biology at Foundation Medicine

Jared White has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and computational biology. Jared started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Motorola in 1998 and later worked as a Software Engineer at Affiliated Computer Services from 2003 to 2006. Jared then joined the Broad Institute as a Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2011.

In 2011, Jared joined Foundation Medicine, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer, Manager of Computational Biology Engineering, Associate Director of Scientific Software Engineering, Director of Computational Biology, and Senior Director of Computational Biology. Currently, Jared serves as the Vice President of Computational Biology at Foundation Medicine.

Jared White obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and Music from Amherst College, completing their education from 1998 to 2002.
