Dev Shetty

Dev Shetty has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dev founded and currently serves as the CEO of Fura Gems since January 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of COO and Executive Director at Gemfields PLC from December 2009 to January 2017. Dev also worked in private equity at Pallinghurst Resources from December 2007 to December 2009. Before that, Dev Shetty held the role of Head of Finance (Europe) at Essel Propack Limited from May 2003 to October 2007. In the earlier years of their career, they had various roles in different companies between 1996 and 2003.

Dev Shetty completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Bhavans College, from 1993 to 1998. Dev then went on to study at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained the degree of Chartered Accountant in Finance, from an unknown start year up until 2002. Additionally, there is mention of another educational institution called SRWS, but no information is provided regarding the degree name or field of study.
