Lavanya Sivaramakrishnan

Lavanya Sivaramakrishnan has extensive work experience in the banking and consulting industry. Lavanya began their career at Deloitte UK as a Manager in Security and Privacy from 2004 to 2008. Lavanya then joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Senior Audit Manager from 2008 to 2011. After that, they worked at Deloitte India as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk Services from 2011 to 2013. Lavanya then transitioned to Standard Chartered Bank, where they held various roles including Vice President in GIS Operational Risk and Head of Vulnerability Assessment. Lavanya worked at Standard Chartered Bank from 2013 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at HSBC as the Global Head of Controls Technology Governance, a role they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Strategic Enablement Director in CCO, COO department at HSBC from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked in Cybersecurity roles in the CIO office, Retail Banking, and Wealth Management division at HSBC from 2018 to 2020.

Lavanya Sivaramakrishnan has a degree in Electronics and Communications from the University of Madras.
