Matt Kerrison

Matt Kerrison has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Matt currently serves as the Head of Cloud Operations at Itoc since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at the same company from January 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining Itoc, Matt was employed at GJI Group from July 2017 to January 2020. Matt held the positions of I.T Manager / Devops Lead and Senior System Engineer. In these roles, they oversaw I.T operations for the group, managed the I.T team, and led Devops and AWS initiatives.

From July 2015 to August 2016, Matt worked as a System Administrator at Gallagher Bassett, a leading claims administrator. Matt handled technologies such as Vmware and Citrix.

Matt's earlier roles include a Project Engineer position at Ordyss from September 2013 to July 2015, where they specialized in Microsoft System Center solutions. Matt also served as an IT Team Leader at Blackmilk Clothing from February 2013 to November 2013, overseeing a team of developers and IT support staff.

Matt's career began as an IT Technician and Helpdesk Support at Mach Technology from March 2010 to October 2010, and later at Metagenics from February 2011 to February 2013. At Metagenics, they progressed to become a Systems Administrator, managing physical and virtual servers and working with various Microsoft technologies.

Matt Kerrison attended Noosa District State High School from 2005 to 2009, where they completed Year 12. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several AWS certifications from 2014 to 2021, including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Sysops Administrator - Associate, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate. These certifications were obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
