Angela Beerman

Angela Beerman has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Angela began their career at John Lewis in 1979, working their way up to become a senior management team member and playing a key role in introducing 7 day trading. Angela then moved on to Plan UK, a global children's charity, where they served as the Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development. During their time there, they contributed their commercial experience in strategic management and business planning to transform the organization. Following that, Angela worked at Hanover Housing Association as the Director of People, where they developed and launched a People Strategy to support transformational change. Angela successfully transitioned the HR function into strategic business partnering and introduced impactful learning and development initiatives. Currently, Angela serves as the Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development at Jewish Care, a role they assumed in 2018.
