Rachel Wallace

Director, Civic Engagement at The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles

Rachel Wallace has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Rachel is currently working as the Director of Civic Engagement at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles since 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of Outreach & Engagement at IsraAID from 2019 to 2021. Before that, Rachel worked as an ACCESS Associate at the American Jewish Committee (AJC) from 2016 to 2018. Rachel also held the position of Residence Advisor and Teaching Assistant at Kivunim from 2014 to 2015. Rachel's experience also includes being a Fellow at Repair the World, where they organized and executed various community service and educational programs. Additionally, they worked as a Peer Advisor at the UC Santa Cruz International Education Office, assisting students in selecting study abroad programs and integrating international students into the university. Rachel's career began as a Foreign and Defense Policy Intern at the American Enterprise Institute, where they conducted research and provided support for scholars in the field.

Rachel Wallace earned a Master's degree in Government, Diplomacy, and Conflict Resolution from Reichman University, where they studied from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2009 to 2013.
