Liberty Science Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting learners of all ages excited about the power, promise, and pure fun of science and technology. Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium (the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere), a 3D theater, live simulcast surgeries, tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than half a million students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center's offsite and online programs.

The board of directors at Liberty Science Center has a long and varied history, with many members having experience in different industries and educational backgrounds. Some of the companies that the board members have been previously employed by include LeapYear Technologies, Credit Benchmark, and ClearList. In addition to their work experience, many of the board members also have a long history of private investment, with Venture Peak Partners being just one of the companies they have been involved with.
