Lothar Crofton, CFA, FRM has extensive experience in the investment management field. Lothar started their career at XL Capital as an Analyst, where they enhanced asset allocation models and analyzed new deals. Lothar then progressed to the role of Vice President, Structured & Spread Portfolios, where they were responsible for asset allocation and developed liability models.

Afterwards, Lothar joined Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. as Vice President, Quantitative Specialist, where they developed tools for measuring risk and influenced enterprise risk management reporting. Lothar later became Senior Vice President, Investments, responsible for asset allocation and risk management.

Lothar then moved to Enstar Group as SVP, Investments, assisting the Chief Investment Officer in establishing asset allocation and risk management frameworks. Lothar also improved investment portfolio modeling for acquisitions.

Currently, Lothar is with Monument Re Group, where they initially served as an Investment Consultant. Lothar later took on the role of Head of Investments, responsible for portfolio analysis, strategy, and acquisition onboarding. Lothar is currently serving as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, overseeing all facets of the investment management function and developing non-core fixed income investment strategies.

Throughout their career, Lothar has consistently demonstrated their expertise in investment management, risk management, and asset allocation.

Lothar Crofton's education history includes completing the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) program from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2007. Prior to that, Lothar obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 1998.
