Amit Bhasin

Amit’s drive to minimize farmers’ losses by reducing food spoilage brought him to Mori where he is a Research Associate (Postharvest). He conducts shelf-life studies on various produce items for product R&D, manages and analyzes data, and communicates results.

Amit graduated from Washington State University in 2019 with a M.S. in Horticulture. During graduate school he worked on developing nitrogen fertilizer management program for organic highbush blueberries in the Pacific Northwest. He then went on to work as a Trial Research Assistant/Grower in the ornamental floriculture industry, screening new plant varieties for future greenhouse production.
