Tung graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst with a BS in Food Science. Throughout his professional career, he has been working with many different types of food, including fresh, frozen, and canned fruit and vegetables. Tung is passionate about developing methods to reduce food waste and extend shelf life, so that safe, high-quality food can be accessible to as many people as possible.
