Herbert van Ass

Herbert van Ass has extensive work experience in the field of compensation and benefits. Herbert is currently the Vice President and Head of Global Compensation & Benefits and HRIS at MorphoSys since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Global Compensation and Benefits at the same company from December 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining MorphoSys, Herbert worked at Liberty Global where they served as the Director of Compensation and Benefits from November 2014 to December 2021.

Herbert also has prior experience at Fujitsu, where they held various roles including Head of Compensation & Benefits for the Nordic region from March 2012 to November 2014, Head of Global Mobility Europe & Oceania from June 2011 to March 2012, Head of Compensation and Benefits for CEMEA & India from August 2009 to June 2011, and International Reward Manager for Continental Europe and Nordic from August 1998 to July 2009.

Herbert van Ass began their education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, also known as Hogeschool Utrecht, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Personeel & Organisatie from 1994 to 1998. Later, in 2004 and 2005, they attended the University of Groningen, focusing on HR Strategy.
