Angel del Valle

Director, Talent Development at NCCI

Angel Del Valle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Angel began their career in 1990 as a Political Aide to New York State Assemblyman Stephen B. Kaufman. From 1993 to 1998, Angel worked as a Provider Relations Manager at Aetna US Healthcare, where they managed a team and coordinated healthcare services for over one million members. In 1998, they joined the Health Insurance Plan of NY (HIP) as an Assistant Director, Risk Systems Management, where they played a role in the transformation of the organization's medical center group model. In 2001, Angel joined NCCI, initially working as a Product Manager/Consultant, leading the development of a multi-million dollar claims benchmarking software application. Angel later held roles such as Experience Rating Operations Manager, Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, Talent Development Manager, and ultimately Director of Talent Development, where they provided strategic leadership and facilitated talent development initiatives across the organization.

Angel Del Valle holds a Master Degree in Professional Studies in Human Resources & Employment Relations from Penn State University, which was obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, Angel obtained an MBA in Management from Hofstra University between 1995 and 2000. Angel also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Long Island University, earned from 1988 to 1992. In addition to these degrees, Angel has obtained various certifications, including "Learning Power BI Desktop" from LinkedIn in 2021, and "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate" from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021. Other certifications include "The Effective Facilitator" from Leadership Strategies in 2019, "Operational Excellence Foundations" from LinkedIn in 2019, and "Certified Information Professional (CIP)" from AIIM International in 2019, among others.
