Alyssa May Mariano

Alyssa May Mariano, MBET, has a diverse range of work experience. Alyssa May has worked as an Operations Manager and Strategic Partnerships Lead at NuBinary, where they successfully onboarded and managed corporate partnerships, authored various written materials, and organized a major startup pitch competition. Alyssa May also co-founded Tulay, a virtual insurance platform for international students in Canada, where they developed a simplified health insurance platform and negotiated strategic partnerships. Additionally, Alyssa has experience as a Paint Artist - Abstractionist at Uno Pinta, where they used their artistic talents to help fund food subsidies for farmers in the Philippines. Alyssa May was also involved in various roles at organizations such as LOI - League of Innovators, Husavik Cape Hotel, Home Credit Philippines, Globe Telecom, Bureau of Immigration - Philippines, Department of Justice - Philippines, and the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR).

Alyssa May Mariano completed their Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) degree at the University of Waterloo from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science Major in Legal Management from De La Salle University between 2013 and 2016. In 2017, Alyssa attended the Yale Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics at Yale University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Technical Sales from the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business, English Certification from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and Lean Six Sigma from The Board of Trustees of the Management and Strategy Institute.
