Alberto Cagigi

Alberto Cagigi has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and lab management. Alberto currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at Nykode Therapeutics, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior lab manager at Karolinska Institutet from September 2018 to May 2022.

Alberto also worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Visiting Fellow, starting in June 2013 and ending in June 2018. Alberto also held the role of Visiting fellow from June 2013 to March 2016.

Before that, Alberto worked as a Research contractor at Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital from May 2012 to April 2013. Alberto was a Post-doctoral fellow at Karolinska University Hospital from April 2009 to March 2011.

Alberto's career began as a Ph.D. student at Karolinska Institutet, where they worked from April 2004 to March 2009.

Alberto Cagigi pursued a Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from 1998 to 2003 at Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
