Nate Wernette

Nate Wernette has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nate started their career as an Engineering Associate at Escort Inc in 2009 and worked there until 2012. Nate then had an internship as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Escort Manufacturing Corporation in 2013. Nate joined the University of Michigan as a Catering Associate in 2014 before moving on to Manhattan Associates, where they worked as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant from 2015 to 2018. Nate then joined Deloitte Consulting as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant from 2018 to 2021, focusing on strategic initiatives and enterprise roadmaps for Fortune 100 companies. Currently, Nate is working at Optoro, where they held the roles of Director of Corporate Strategy, Director of Corporate Strategy & Partnerships, and now serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy & Partnerships. In their current role, they are responsible for long-term strategy, fundraising, investor relations, and strategic partnerships, overseeing key growth initiatives across multiple departments.

Nate Wernette holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
