David G. Toro

David Toro has accumulated a wealth of experience in legal and compliance roles. David started their career at Capital One in 2012, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk management before moving to StreetShares in 2016 as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Toro then joined Teachable in 2019 as their General Counsel, before assuming the position of Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Legal at Parafin in 2021.

David Toro holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont. David later pursued a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy & Marketing from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. In 2018, they completed a course in Scaling Tech Ventures at Harvard Business School Online.
