Wael Elamine

Wael Elamine has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Wael'smost recent position was as the Head of Market & Innovation at Q ENERGY, where they managed three teams focused on innovation and software development. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Continuous Improvement and Innovation at RES, overseeing knowledge management, market intelligence, and innovation projects. Wael also co-led the RES industry 4.0 initiative at the group level. Wael has held various managerial roles throughout their career, including Market Intelligence, Innovation & Methods Manager, PPA & Market Analyst Manager, and Market Analyze and New Market Manager, where they were responsible for conducting market analysis, managing teams, and developing business strategies. Before working at RES, Wael was an Independent Consultant in the renewable energy sector and the Head of Solar, Geothermal, and Oversea Department at Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables. Wael has also worked as a Photovoltaic expert at GS 21 and as an Asset Manager at CFERM. Wael began their career as a Business Engineer for renewables and energy conservation at cie dupaquier and as a Research Engineer at MINES ParisTech.

Wael Elamine obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering with a major in Energy from Polytech Marseille between 1999 and 2002. In 2013, they attended the Institut formation carbone to study carbon footprint analysis within the field of Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology.
