Kenneth Z Tan

Kenneth Z Tan has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kenneth Z most recently served as the Vice President of People & Culture at Rainforest, an e-commerce aggregator and brand builder. In this role, Kenneth focused on building trustworthy consumer brands in the home, mom, and baby space. Previously, they were the Head of HR Centre of Excellence at Shopee and the Head of Human Resources at Jirnexu, where they managed the full spectrum of HR at Malaysia's leading Personal Finance FinTech. Before that, Kenneth served as the General Manager & Head of Human Resources at Sunsuria Berhad, overseeing corporate strategy, business development, and HR initiatives. Additionally, they gained experience as an Investment Associate during an MBA internship at SHC Group. Kenneth's early career included a significant role as a Channel Manager at A+E Networks Asia, where they launched new pay-TV channels and managed television programming and promotions.

Kenneth Z Tan pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2006, where they completed a BA (Hons) and an MA in Classical Archaeology & Ancient History. Kenneth Z then went on to further their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IESE Business School between 2012 and 2014. In 2014, Kenneth Z Tan also obtained another Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
