Tuna Yilmaz Ozkan

Tuna Yilmaz Ozkan has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They have held various roles in different companies, including Sandoz, Novartis, and GSK. Their most recent role is as the VP External Supply Operations North America at Sandoz, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis as Lead Supplier Relationship Management DE, External Supply Sandoz, and Supplier Relationship Management, External Supply Operations Europe, Sandoz. Tuna also worked at GSK as Head Regional Country Quality, Area Middle East & North Africa, and Quality Head Turkey CH. Their earlier experience includes roles at Novartis as Head Quality Turkey, Novartis OTC, Head OpEx & Operations Management, Site Operational Excellence Champion, and Deputy Manufacturing Head.

Tuna Yilmaz Ozkan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Boğaziçi University between 1997 and 2001. Prior to that, they attended Nişantaşı Anadolu Lisesi from 1989 to 1996. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained IQP Gold Certification in Lean/6 Sigma - Black Belt from Novartis TechOps Operational Excellence in 2009, as well as APICS Certification from APICS in the same year. They also obtained a certification in Pharmaceutical technology from Marmara University in 2008. Additionally, they participated in the Reverse Mentoring Program at GSK in 2015 and the IGNITE Leadership Program at Novartis in 2020.
