Joe Vasicek, PE

Joe Vasicek, PE has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Joe is currently serving as the Lead Product Development Engineer at SawStop. Prior to that, they worked at Curtiss-Wright Corporation for ten years as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they led the concept development group and managed cross-functional design teams. Before that, Joe worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Ultra Clean Technology, where they were responsible for designing subsystems for solar and semiconductor capital equipment. Joe also worked at Apex America, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed needle and MEMS probe cards for semiconductor automated test equipment. Joe started their career at Azima DLI as an Engineering Technician, where they assisted with machinery condition monitoring hardware and developed reporting tools for machinery condition monitoring software.

Joe Vasicek, PE attended the University of Portland from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). In June 2009, they obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying.
