Julie van Leunen

Julie Van Leunen, MBA, has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Human Resources Administrator at Wheat's Lawn & Custom Landscape, Inc. From 2007 to 2010, Julie served as the Lead for U.S. Immigration at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. Julie then joined Baker McKenzie as a Global Mobility Consultant from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they moved to Serco as an International HR Specialist, later progressing to roles such as Human Resources Manager, Director of HR Business Partner, Director of Talent, and finally as SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. Currently, Julie is an Advisory Board Member at the Greg and Camille Baroni Center for Government Contracting. In addition to their professional experience, they also served as a JMU MBA Ambassador at James Madison University in 2021.

Julie Van Leunen, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Leadership from James Madison University. Julie also holds a Certificate in Management from the University of Oxford and a Certificate in Leadership from the Center for Creative Leadership. Julie completed their undergraduate studies at James Madison University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Affairs.
