Greg Dukellis

Gregory Dukellis is General Counsel for Shimmick. Greg oversees the legal affairs of the company and provides strategic legal advice to all levels of the company.

Greg is a highly experienced construction attorney and litigator, who before joining the company, spent over 25 years in private practice litigating some of California’s largest claims on behalf of public works contractors. He has extensive expertise advising on all aspects of public infrastructure projects, including Design-Build, P3, claims management, contractual risk assessment, and resolution of claims.

Greg was a senior partner with Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, L.L.P., a national construction law firm and served on its Board of Directors. During his tenue, Greg served as trial and appellate counsel on several of California’s most significant published public works construction decisions, including Dillingham-Ray Wilson v. City of Los Angeles (2010) 182 Cal.App.4th 1396 and Amelco Electric v. City of Thousand Oaks (2002) 27 Cal.4th 228.

Greg received his law degree from Loyola Law School and his undergraduate degree from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
