Alejandro Velasco

Alejandro Velasco has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alejandro worked at SWAROVSKI from 2012, where they served as a Senior Global Project Lead, focusing on the digital transformation of the company through the implementation of SERVICENOW and SAP ARIBA. Alejandro also led the GBS Transformation Project in the areas of Finance, Master Data, and HR. Prior to their time at SWAROVSKI, Alejandro worked at Octapharma Group from 2004 to 2012. During their tenure, they held positions such as Head of Corporate Business Analysis & Market Intelligence and Corporate Controller, where they oversaw business analysis, market intelligence, financial control, and internal auditing. Before joining Octapharma Group, Alejandro worked at Arthur Andersen from 1997 to 2004, where they held roles as Senior Team Leader and Consultancy and Finance Team Leader, focusing on creating financial shared service centers, reengineering processes, and providing consultancy and finance services.

Alejandro Velasco holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Commercial Direction from Universidad del Pais Vasco (ES) / Queen's University (UK). Alejandro also obtained a Master's degree in Marketing and Sales Direction of Pharmaceutical Companies from UNED in the year 2009. Additionally, Alejandro has a University Expert certification in Consultancy/Risk Management from UNED that they earned in 2000. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Agile Project Management Certifications from Google, Scrum Master Certification: Scaling Agile from LearnQuest, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from SWAROVSKI, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
