Stuart Hayes

Stuart Hayes has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on managerial and leadership positions. Stuart is currently the Head of Human Resources - APAC at Swissport since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Group Manager - People at Russell Mineral Equipment from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they served as a Human Resources Management Consultant for various companies from 2019 to 2020. From 2015 to 2018, Stuart held the position of Head of Human Resources at BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, where they were responsible for delivering HR strategy and services for a complex business with a workforce of over 10,000. Stuart also has a strong background in HR roles within Rio Tinto, including General Manager Employee Relations, General Manager Human Resources Operations Australia, General Manager Human Resources Coal, and Manager Human Resources. Stuart's career in HR began at BHP in 1986, where they worked in various HR roles, including Officer and Manager, and also held accountability for safety, environment, and community functions for five years.

Stuart Hayes completed a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Wollongong between 1986 and 1992.
